The laptop band "Benoît and the Mandelbrots" was formed in winter 2009 by musicology/music informatics students of the University of Music Karlsruhe and is dedicated mainly to live coding. The band members are Holger Ballweg, Patrick Borgeat, Juan A. Romero and Matthias Schneiderbanger. More information on www.the-mandelbrots.de
