Hacking Cellular Automata: an approach to sound synthesis

In this paper, I present my implementations of cellular automata in
sound synthesis (UGens in SuperCollider). A general explanation of the
system is given, followed by a review of historical applications in
music. It then gives descriptions of the actual hacking/implementation
and conclusions drawn.
